Certain political leaders from New York state have also suggested suspending the state’s gas tax, which is 33.3 cents per gallon.

While the federal government is not planning to launch any kind of stimulus plan in the state legislature, lawmakers from the state and President Biden have put forward a variety of ideas to assist consumers.
