A few political figures in New York state have also been in favor of suspending the state’s gas tax, which is 33.3 cents per gallon.

Although the federal government is not attempting to implement any kind of stimulus package in the state legislature, lawmakers from the state and President Biden are putting forward various plans to assist consumers. These include a 3-month time-frame for the holiday of gas taxes. But , as of June 30, there’s nothing concrete to be discussed by Congress. It could be a while before gas rebates start being distributed to all states.
