The federal government needs to think about the possibility of a similar scheme as a viable option to reduce the current high prices of gasoline and other products.

Although the federal government has not looking to roll out any kind of stimulus package state legislators and President Biden have presented a variety proposals to assist consumers. These include a 3-month period of a gas tax vacation. In the final days of June the proposal is not being examined by Congress. It could be a while before gas rebates begin to roll out in all states. While President Trump has even proposed an annual gas tax holiday across the country however, he’s been unable to find any legal way to fund the holiday.
