The federal government hasn’t adopted the Gas Rebate Act of 2022 yet, but it is considering such an option, and a few cities and states have enacted legislation for it. Inflation rebate checks are intended to aid citizens increased costs. The President has made a proposal for an all-national gas tax holiday, he has not found the right legislation to support it.
