Although the federal government is not planning to launch any kind of stimulus package, state lawmakers and President Biden have presented a variety proposals to assist consumers. These include a 3-month time-frame for the holiday of gas taxes. At the time of writing the proposal is not being looked at by Congress. While President Obama has offered an annual gas tax holiday across the country, he has not found any law that would allow him to fund the holiday.
